This Week: Almost Back to Normal

Monday morning we got back to normal by sending #2 off to school, getting back to working out, and #1 doing school work again. #1 and I finished the Percy Jackson series and started the Narnia books this week. We're excited about these new books!

#2 got a hair cut and did great!

On Thursday I woke up with some pain that progressively got worse through the day. I went to the doctor that afternoon and they scheduled an emergency CAT scan that found a kidney stone. We're still waiting for it to pass and would appreciate your prayers that it would happen soon so I don't have to do surgery for it.

  1. I have read your blog for a while, but this is my first comment. As someone who suffered from kidney stones a few years ago, you definitely have my prayers. I understand how bad it hurts, and how much of a relief it is when you finally pass it.

Just as a quick introduction: I am married, a Mom of two sons. Our younger has Autism, hypotonia, SPD, and lots of food issues (allergies, intolerances, and other food issues). Our older son has Autism (much more effected than our younger son), dyslexia, SPD, food issues, hypotonia, growth issues, and ADHD. We homeschool both kids, though our younger is just now turning 5 (in a week, where did the time go). He is doing so well, wanted to "do school" when he watched brother, so we struck while the iron was hot with him.

Thank you for your blog. I really enjoy reading it each week.
